Good Morning, good afternoon and good evening beautiful water lily!

I love this! You look like a little fairy, Kirsi, princess of the water lilies! You must keep waiting in the water lily. Soon there will come a frog to take you away. You must be willing to give him many kisses on his frog face, because when you do, he will turn into a handsome prince and he will take you away to his paradise. And his paradise and your paradise will be one.

Love to you, fair lily.

My dear Banana

Good morning…

Sounds good, I love frogs…and I so wanted to kiss one…:)

Love!

Oh My! There's something about spaghetti straps and a basic, black mini that gets the blood racing! It kept me, for an extra moment, from the intriguing background of this piece. A wonderful, new montage for me to look at over and over again. :)

Hello Finnish Fairy!
Hei Finnish Keijukainen!

AnaBanana, it seems that us two little angels (numbers one and two) were thinking the same thing.

Kirsi, this collage is so adorably cute.. You sitting there on that fragrant lilly in your Friday paradise...

Kiva, sievä, söpö, nokkela, pikantti, soma, vitsikäs !!

All of the above is what the translator gave me for Finnish words for "cute"..

Interesting, though, because "kiva" is a word for a sacred place for Pueblo Indians.

Guess it’s my turn to blush… and thanks, this was first a very difficult topic for me…I had to sleep over the night to find the way to describe my paradise...:)

*Itkupilli* said...

AnaJo

WOW! Excellent, you are learning fast…soon we can discuss in Finnish!

I would say that söpö is most correct translation to cute!

So now I learn also Pueblo Indians language…:)

Is there a French man lurking on the blog?? Ha! il doit faire attention!!
Kirsi...the art is beautiful.
All my sister's are. I have developed a problem though....you and AnaJ and AnaB...have sent me looking for all this information....Finland...Tewa..art...

I have even found the sunrise table for Finland

www.gaisma.com/en/location/kangasala.html

and I found this nice museum

www.hiekantaidemuseo.fi/engl.htm

it is a busy saturday...and a bit rainy...i will try to come back again

It's not creepy~I think it's cute.

{{At least you get people who leave you comments...at all...I have the same people reading my blog everyday {I see their hits on my tracker}, but they never leave me comments~I don't know why? I guess they're too scared! whatever!! And it's not my "friends", I don't know who these people are.}}

But whatever....

Have a lovely day at the beach Kirsi~~

Love, Hugs, and kisses

Kirsi, what I meant to imply was, that people shouldn't hide~I think that Mr. or Miss annonymous should have let us known who their true identity was.
Well, thats all I'm saying on thi subject.

We love you Kirsi~ignore ignorant people like that!!

//Surely it's creepy! It is my selfportrait!!!!//

you would not believe how wide my grin is. I am not only all over the blog...I am all over oshkosh...i have been to the library...the university...I am picking up miriam to run her to dance studio...and i still need to go to Brian
's house and help him build a fence....and i must find time to launder my underwear....socks too.

there is a fullness to being busy...i am too full right now....love is

Shy people have all they right to say their opinion…

That comment amused me…I don’t take my self-portraits very seriously, I don’t want to make them beautiful or flattering…if I use my face, it’s always a bit caricature…

Although content is true...water is my element...I’ve always lived close to water…:)

Jimm....

I see you running...looks cute...:)

Anonymous said...

you are kind Kirsi... So full of love.. I learn from you to be understanding..';)

singinghawk said...

yes, that's kind of what I thought when I looked at your self-portrait, Kirsi. I laughed first...there is something eccentric, charming, and heart-warming about your images. That is what makes them so uniquely yours.

singinghawk said...

and I don't see Jimm running at all. I have a feeling that Kirsi knows what jimm looks like. OKjimm? When do we get to see your lovely face so we can then fantasize about you cleaning your underwear.

Anonymous said...

Kirsi....I thought you were napping....:)

I am at Brian's now....our fence building has been rained out. At 4:00--midnight Finland...I am helping max move to his new apartment...I am then going to the nights Gallery walk.....Miriam just told me today that tomorrow is a picnic for all the students who had worked at her school newspaper...kind of a year's end banquet...she was the photo editor this year...i think she has won an award or scholarship or something....she can be somewhat shy and quiet

I have decided to have a cyber party in Wisconsin....I put some information at her blog it will

www.watercitygrill.net

just enter the cafe and click on the algoma room it is a great place to have a party....

and then we can have parties in New Mexico and Kangasala and Florida and Chicago....California...oh my...

oh the possibilities...oh the rain has stopped...i must go discuss with the guys whether we are building a fence after all ...or ordering pizza and watching baseball....

Anonymous said...

// and I don't see Jimm running at all. I have a feeling that Kirsi knows what jimm looks like. OKjimm? When do we get to see your lovely face //

I am very inept....miriam said she will teach me to scan and post a photo.....but we need to wait until the evil ex is away....chasing the possum away did seem to earn me any good graces....I guess I will help her up her trellis in the yard....just so she will stop being grouchy...
....opps...we are putting up a couple of fench panels...must go

Anonymous said...

Kirsi, I thought the same thing as Ana when I saw it~I'm glad you're not bothered by it~

and jimm...when are you going to grace us with your cherubic face?

*Itkupilli* said...

Hey Jimm I was napping…just woke up…and I promise to go early to bed…

but first I go back to Water City Grill and I’m going to have a nice cold beer… and I try to learn to pronounce Oshkosh…it sounds so cute…ah…oh dear… so cute…

And sisters, thanks for your lovely words…

Anonymous said...

kirsi...osssshh koshhh It is the name of an old Indian chief, Winneabago tribe in or area. I, glad you like the Water City Grill..... Miriam and I go there once in awhile..I love the stuffed meat loaf and she really likes the Portobello sandwich. I think our friend AnaJ has had an interesting afternoon...judging from comments at Mary E I think she has found a fun afternoon....I truly hope!!

I am going to mail....hopefully you are asleep...kisses for your dreams.

Anonymous said...

awww....Kirsi....you will make me feel guilty if you stay up late....I am looking into solutions that will let us talk better.... I must go...the phone is ringing...Max....he must need something....it is usually when I hear from him the most....ahhhh

Hi Kirsi, fairy or itKupiLLi,

I can love you just by the way you repond to anonymous.

What a coincidence that this few days I am searching for water lily image to paint with and here I see you sitting on one.

It is a lovely sight.

Thank you...I love your paintings...there is perhaps something what reminds me about Monet…and then Water Lilies go so well…:)

Right now your words are like balsam to me, sometimes I have feeling I share too much, but despite of that I will take a risk to give too much than too less… Thank you.

Hei söpö Finnish Keijukainen!

I am just waking up here and found that a fairy had left her flower to come and leave some words of love on my blog. Such a wonderful way to start the day. kiittää te my sister!

I enjoy going through your archives and looking at all of your artwork. So lovely and revealing of your journey.

I want to take out some time later today and place myself in a certain mood... light some incense.. put on some music which invokes mystery and absorb the artwork from you and AnaB... You two are very important ladies in my life, albeit "virtual".. and yet very real!

Minä rakastan sinua

Anonymous said...

good morning lovely woman! I read you notes this morning....I love them...I find myself waking in the morning....and thinking, not what time it is...but what time it is in Finland! but does anyone really care what time it is!!!! I am starting to disregard the concept of time....and place.....they really are kind of screwed up concepts anyway. I am going to say hello at AnaJo's, and write you a letter...Love is

*Itkupilli* said...

AnaJo

Olet söpö. Rakastan sinua.

You are really a sun shine...

so, dear heart, if you have been to AnaJo's blog....you know that I AM in a very songful mood today....and i am singing (just rhetorically of course...my singing voice is not the best) but after reading your letters this morning I knew I would have to type all day to find the right\write words but John and Paul helped me out

Who knows how long I've loved you
You know I love you still
Will I wait a lonely lifetime
If you want me to--I will.

For if I ever saw you
I didn't catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same.

Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we're together
Love you when we're apart.

And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air
Sing it loud so I can hear you
Make it easy to be near you
For the things you do endear you to me
You know I will
I will.

I've always loved Beatles...now I know why...:)

AnaJ and Jimm

Why don’t we found a geography club, I’ve also studied a lot of that lately, did you know that distance between Oshkosh and Tampere is only 9,886 km (6142.9 miles)?

singinghawk said...

Kirsi! Do you know how wonderful it is to wake-up to your loving words?! And then to come over here to your blog (first thing in the morning) to read even more loving words from Okjim, Anajo, you and others. This is why I am so distracted! I'd rather be surrounded in virtual love than immersed in real-time loneliness.
I would love to meet you and all of my virtual friends. That is for sure. I would be very scared, though, Kirsi. I can be very different in person...sometimes shy and quiet and very reserved (surprise!). I can be like my virtual self too. But some times I can only be found under a rock. And sometimes that rock is very heavy.

I love your warmth, your eccentricity, your vulnerability. I saw all of that when you first graced my blog. I don't know how you found me, or how Anajo found me, but I sure am happy that both did.

Minä rakastan sinua, Kirsi. And here is a kiss for you and a hug.

Lots of love to you, Anajo, Okjimm, Kelly, and a newfound friend (and one of us) Timothy Tien. If you get a chance, go to my Instant Karma post and read his last comment. He is truly a vulnerable man.

*Itkupilli* said...

Anab,

Thank you sweet heart...I once more so understand what you mean...my virtual friend…I went your Instant Karma and I read Timothy’s comment…that is what we all are going through…and it’s wonderful to find more and more people who’s willing to find love…and say no to fear…

Somehow maybe it’s easier make first steps in virtual world…and then there is the question, how are we in real…I think our intuition tells it…no need to worry, if we just are silent enough to listen it.

Rakastan sinua Banana. I’m sure we’ll meet one day and I’ll love you even more…

I just remembered how I found you AnaB. And I found Kirsi through you. I was reading a French blog and Piktor posted there. I went to his blog and read one of your comments and then found you. I saw the title of your blog "Singing Hawk" and that, right away, got my attention. There was something about your American Indian heritage that I related to. And then that picture of you.. I just saw something in your face and related to you. Then after reading how you responded carefully to every post.. I thought... How sweet and caring this lady is! And then Kirsi made a comment. Much like Timothy I was struck with her use of the word "love".. at first I was a tad skeptical because so many people bandy that word about... But then I came here, to ItKupilli and saw that she really was a loving spirit...

And thus the tale of the cry babies began.. and the cry babies laughed and made love and had all manner of good times..

*Itkupilli* said...

Oh dear sister,

You make my heart beat...I’m so happy to read these comments…I though that I go little bit backwards in some blogs and try to find out how I found you…I think I found AnaJ through Piktor, but I don’t remember how AnaB…it has been a very sort time…but so intimate and intensive…well and from ThaKwee salon or better say saloon I found Jimm….
